Notice is hereby given to all Somali people and businesses, specifically those in Somaliland, that Rothmans of Pall Mall Limited, Address: Route de la Nods 3, Boncourt 2926, Switzerland is the sole proprietor and rightful owner of the trademark below:   

“The trademark consists of the word “ROYALS” displayed in stylized capital letters beneath a decorative crest featuring a crowned shield bearing the letter “R”, supported by two heraldic lions. The crest is set against a diagonally divided background in blue and red colors, creating a regal and premium visual impression associated with heritage, prestige, and distinction”

RIGHTS CLAIMED IN RESPECT OF CLASS  34 OF WIPO NICE CLASIFICATION  

Class 34:          Cigarettes; tobacco, raw or manufactured; roll your own tobacco; pipe tobacco; tobacco products; tobacco substitutes (not for medical purposes); cigars; cigarillos; cigarette lighters for smokers; cigar lighters for smokers; matches; smokers’ articles; cigarette paper; cigarette tubes; cigarette filters; pocket apparatus for rolling cigarettes; hand held machines for injecting tobacco into paper tubes; electronic cigarettes; liquids for electronic cigarettes; tobacco products for the purpose of being heated; electronic devices and their parts for the purpose of heating tobacco.

The proprietor has invested significant time, effort, and resources into the creation, promotion, and recognition of this trademark. The mark is widely recognized and symbolizes the goodwill and reputation of the company.  

This notice serves to inform the general public, business entities, retailers, distributors, and all other relevant stakeholders that the aforementioned trademark is exclusively owned by Rothmans of Pall Mall Limited, and any unauthorized use, reproduction, imitation, or misrepresentation of the mark is strictly prohibited.  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all concerned, including dealers, businesses, and individuals, that any unauthorized or illegal use of the aforesaid trademark shall constitute an infringement of Rothmans of Pall Mall Limited intellectual property rights and will be deemed prejudicial to their legal interests. Such violations shall render the offender liable to both civil and criminal proceedings under the applicable laws.  

Any person, company, or entity found imitating, copying, misusing, or otherwise infringing upon the trademark in any manner without prior written authorization from the rightful owner shall be subject to legal action under the intellectual property and trademark laws of Somalia, Somaliland, and Puntland. Rothmans of Pall Mall Limited is committed to taking all necessary legal steps, including but not limited to injunctions, monetary damages, and criminal complaints, to prevent any unauthorized usage and to safeguard its exclusive rights over the trademark.  

ALL ENTITIES AND INDIVIDUALS ARE HEREBY ADVISED to respect this notice and refrain from engaging in any act that may compromise the ownership and legal rights of our client. Those requiring legitimate use or authorization regarding the mark should seek prior written permission from the rightful proprietor.
